The City of Cumberland water and sewer bills that are mailed via the postal service to residents will look a bit different for a couple months. The City is unable at this time to obtain the usual blue and white pre-printed form that customers are used to seeing arrive in their mail box so, for the next several billing cycles, the water and sewer bills will be printed on plain white forms.
The City wanted to alert its utility customers to this change to help clarify any confusion when the bills arrive in the mail looking a little generic and without the normal City of Cumberland Seal so that the bills are not mistaken for junk mail and inadvertently thrown out. The bills will identify that they have been mailed from the City of Cumberland and reference all normal utility account information.
