4. The Chief of Police welcomes and encourages any commendations or complaints from the community about the performance of his officers. Please feel free to share any experiences you have had with our Police Department.
   
   To better follow-up on any commendations and complaints, the Chief of Police would like to encourage you to provide your name and contact information; however, anonymous correspondences will be accepted. In addition, it is always helpful if you include the involved officer’s name; however, if you do not have this information, please submit as much information about the incident as possible to help with their identification.
   
   In addition to this online form, commendations or complaints will be accepted in person at the Cumberland Police Department or by telephone at 301-777-1600, 24-hours a day.
