Officer of the Year/Quarter

Officer of the Year

Every quarter, selected Supervisors are asked to submit their choice for Officer of the Quarter. The Supervisor has to justify the nomination. Usually, officers that display exemplary work in performing their duties or take initiative in investigating a case are the nominees. After all the submissions are made, the same Supervisors, along with the Deputy Chief, choose from the "short" list.
At the end of the year, the same Supervisors choose an Officer of the Year from those that were named Officer of the Quarter.
