The Street Maintenance Branch is located at the Municipal Service Center at 215 Bowen Street in South Cumberland and consists of 18 employees who are responsible for the maintenance of some 131 center line miles of city streets throughout Cumberland.   Included in this maintenance activity are utility hole repair, potholing, street cleaning, traffic control signage, general construction, and snow removal. They also perform the annual city-wide leaf collection.  Street Maintenance has purchased an asphalt paver and has developed an in-house paving program to improve the condition of city streets.
