Notice of Public Hearing - City of Cumberland Hotel / Motel Funding
The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the Cumberland City Hall Council Chambers. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public presentations of funding requests from community groups interested in receiving support from the City’s hotel/motel funds. Interested organizations must submit a written request to the City Administrator’s office by Friday, January 26, 2018, which should include 1) general activities of the organization; 2) amount of funding being requested; 3) proposed use of funding; 4) explanation of how this funding will increase hotel/motel occupancy in the city.
