Due to the closing of the landfill because of extreme weather conditions, City of Cumberland trash collection has been suspended in theWednesday February 20 Downtown & North End Areas of the City of Cumberland. Residents in these areas will receive double trash pickup on their next regularly scheduled collection day: Saturday, February 23, 2019. Trash collection was also suspended in the Monday February 18 due to landfill closure, Upper & Lower West Side, East Side, and Seton Drive Areas of the City of Cumberland. Residents in these areas will receive double trash pickup on their next regularly scheduled collection day: Thursday February 21st 2019.
There may be delays in trash collection Thursday due to a potential delayed opening of the landfill on Thursday February 21. Please check back here for updates.
