The meetings of the Mayor and City Council scheduled for May 5, 2020, will be held through a virtual meeting format.
A budget work session will be held beginning at 4:00 p.m. and will be able to be viewed by the public on FaceBook at "Cumberland City Hall Livestream" or through the link provided on the City’s website: http://www.ci.cumberland.md.us/355/Public-Meetings
At 5:00 p.m., Council will close the open work session and convene into closed session pursuant to Section 3-305(b)(4) and (7) of the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland to receive legal advice regarding proposed changes to the City Charter and to discuss matters pertaining to the merger of the Cumberland Economic Development Commission (CEDC) with Allegany County.
At 6:15 p.m., Council will convene their regular public meeting which will again be able to be viewed by the public at "Cumberland City Hall Livestream" or through the link provided on the City’s website: http://www.ci.cumberland.md.us/355/Public-Meetings
Citizens who wish to speak during the public comment section at the end of the meeting must access the meeting through www.zoom.us and use the following sign-in credentials:

Citizens will be logged into a waiting room and called upon by the Mayor at the appropriate time. Public comments are limited to 5 minutes.
