[ARCHIVED] City Announces Additional COVID-19 Testing Event for Employees of Cumberland Businesses

The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland will be sponsoring another COVID test event for employees of Cumberland businesses on December 16th.  All employees working at businesses within Cumberland are eligible for the test, which will be administered by PharmaCare staff, at no cost to themselves or to their employer.

This testing event will be conducted indoors on Wednesday, December 16 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Constitution Park.   Employers located within the City of Cumberland will need to pre-register their participating employees no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14th using this link:  https://forms.gle/SLKLqY9uActbz8tG9v

Pre-registration will allow Pharmacare staff to minimize wait times on-site by having the relevant information on hand.

Pre-registered individuals should enter the Activities building through the marked door, check in, proceed to the nurse for their test and then exit on the other side of the building.   Should you prefer to stay in your car for the test, please email blavorgna@aeontechlabs.com in advance so your needs can be accommodated.

AEON technologies, in partnership with PharmaCare, will communicate test results to the individual tested within 24-48 hours and report test results to the State of Maryland as required by current laws.  The City of Cumberland does not receive test results.

Any questions regarding the City’s COVID testing event should be directed to Melissa Penrod at 301-759-6446.
