The Downtown Development Commission and the Downtown Cumberland Business Association are pleased to announce a Spring Scavenger Hunt happening downtown during National Small Business Week, May 1st – 7th.
Participants will search for a photo of a Black-Eyed Susan (Maryland’s State Flower) in each participating business. As participants find the photos, employees in the businesses will initial and check it off on the list. Entry forms can be picked up at any of the participating businesses beginning on May 1st. Once a participant has located at least ten photos, the forms can be turned in at The Book Center, 15 N. Centre Street. Deadline for entries is 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 7th.
Four winners will be randomly drawn from the completed forms on Monday, May 9th and each winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to a participating business of their choice.
